Beyond Print: Supporting Academic Success & Wellbeing Through the Creation of an Interactive Electronic Student Success Guide

Interactive electronic guides (eBooks) are cost effective and sustainable options for sharing information with students. The presenters will highlight how Pressbooks was used to create an electronic Student Success Guide to support the virtual learning and wellbeing of dental students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Information will be shared about the process for creating the interactive guide, how it was integrated with Canvas, what was learned from the process, how the eBook was adapted for use beyond online learning, and plans for future collaboration and expansion.
