Professional Development for UMN Academic Technology (AT) and Instructional Design (ID) Staff
The Academic Technology SHAREcase is a professional development event where the University Academic Technology community can share challenges and--working together--find solutions.
This in-person event with a hybrid option spans two half-days. Participants will have multiple opportunities to build connections and learn ways to leverage academic technology in creative, innovative, and engaging ways.

The 5th annual UMN Academic Technology SHAREcase will be held June 7-8, 2023.
This fully hyflex event will take place at Bruininks Hall (located on the East Bank of the Twin Cities campus) and on Zoom. There will be in-person and virtual presentations and attendance options for all sessions.
The program at a glance:
- Day 1 (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM). After breakfast, Deborah Keyek-Franssen will deliver a keynote "Disruption Bingo: Charting a Course for an Entire Profession" before the presentation sessions start. Over lunch, Instructure representatives offer table discussions. All is followed by a social gathering.
- Day 2 (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM). After breakfast and one more formal presentation session, participants are invited to the Unconference. At lunchtime, Eric Watkins (Vice Provost for Distributed Learning) is hosting a panel discussion. After closing remarks, there will be an open social invitation.
